About American Wagyu

Raised for Exceptional Flavor

When Wagyu cattle arrived in the United States, ranchers saw an opportunity to blend Japan’s most marbled beef with the bold, familiar taste of American beef. Through selective breeding and patient herd development, American Wagyu was born. The result is beef that carries the buttery tenderness of traditional Wagyu, balanced with the robust, savory flavor that feels right at home on American tables.

Rich Marbling

Marbling is what makes Wagyu beef  exceptional. The fine distribution of fat throughout the muscle creates remarkable tenderness, rich flavor, and a juicy eating experience unlike traditional beef. This natural marbling melts during cooking, enhancing every bite with buttery texture and depth of flavor. It's a difference you can see before the first bite and one you'll remember long after the meal is over.

Premium Taste, Unique Profile

Wagyu beef is known for more than just the quantity of marbling. The composition of that marbling is different, containing higher levels of monounsaturated fats, including oleic acid. This unique fat profile contributes to Wagyu's smooth texture, rich flavor, lower melting point, and the buttery eating experience that has made Wagyu a favorite among beef enthusiasts.
